Who We Are
Diabetes Awareness Trust (DAT) is a non-profit organization established on March 2017 to enlighten Kenyans on diabetes including healthy living to enhance the management and prevention of diabetes and other Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). The other NCDs DAT will focus on are; cancers, hypertension & Arthritis.
The mandate of DAT is to empower people living with diabetes and other NCDs as well as the general public by providing awareness to all and highlighting risk factors associated with diabetes and promoting healthy lifestyles.
DAT aims at reducing new cases of diabetes and NCDs through information sharing of information, advocacy for quality health care, and networking.
