Hannah Kigamba is a highly experienced development professional with 15 years of expertise in project management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and strategic leadership. She has worked with national, regional, and international development organizations, gaining extensive experience in designing and implementing results-based programs that address health, food systems, climate change, biodiversity conservation, and community resilience.
At the Diabetes Awareness Trust (DAT), Hannah provides overall leadership in strategic planning, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy. She has a strong track record in developing M&E frameworks, guiding data collection and analysis, and transforming evidence into impactful communication products that demonstrate project performance and influence policy. Her leadership has mobilized diverse actors for agroecological initiatives, strengthened community participation, and fostered strategic partnerships that advance organizational objectives.
Hannah holds a Bachelor degree in Development Studies, a Diploma in Community Development and Social Work, and has completed over ten specialized short courses in areas such as food systems, monitoring and evaluation, climate change, advocacy, and media engagement. Known for her adaptability, collaborative approach, and commitment to excellence, she continues to champion consumer awareness, nutrition education, and healthier, more sustainable food systems through DAT’s work.
